When Manuel joined the company in 2011, he had already lived through many changes in the world of translation: In the mid-1980’s, when he first began in this industry, documents were still being physically delivered to the translators, and the software had to be localized in the source code.
Manual had a very successful tenure at several multinational companies. He has been an expert witness, and an early adopter of desktop publishing, translation memories, CAT tools, up to preemptive software and neural machine translation.
As a director of operations his role is to preserve the correct shape of the virtuous triangle: quality, time and price.
Being a physicist, he is still very interested in mathematics and chess.
